See Downtown from a Whole New Height

This isn’t your average walking tour. Antique Skyscrapers & Rooftop Views takes you off the sidewalks and into the sky for a rare peek at Pittsburgh’s early skyscrapers.

On May 10th and 11th, you’ll have the opportunity to explore four historic buildings that help define Pittsburgh’s architectural identity. The real thrill is gaining rooftop access to some of the best views in the city, with many interesting stories behind all the steel and stone.

You’ll begin with the Koppers Building, where a 29th-floor balcony offers a stunning view all the way to Oakland. Next, you’ll head to the Frick Building, once home to Henry Clay Frick’s private Union Club. At the Oliver Building, you’ll get an up-close look at Daniel Burnham’s Beaux Arts detailing from a perspective that few get to experience. Finally, you’ll wrap up at Kaufmann’s Grand, with a 360-degree rooftop view.

This is the perfect adventure for anyone who wants to go beyond the ordinary and see Pittsburgh from a whole new height! Tours will be running at 10 AM, 1 PM, and 4 PM.
