Best Restaurants Brings Flavors From Sixth Street's Restaurant Row to The Convention Center

Sixth Street’s Restaurant Row is no joke: al fresco dining options line the peaceful sidewalks, live music can be heard from the street and there is a bustling, vibrant atmosphere, even on a Monday.
With establishments up and down the street offering everything from South American steak sandwiches to Turkish kebabs to Mediterranean specialties and flavorful buffalo wings, it is hard to pick a restaurant to patronize. At Best Restaurants, you can sample the flavors of Sixth Street classics RedBeards on Sixth and Olive or Twist without being tied down by a singular reservation.
RedBeards on Sixth
Touted as Pittsburgh’s most authentic sports bar, RedBeards on Sixth is a haven for all Yinzer sports enthusiasts. Just a few blocks away from PNC Park and Acrisure Stadium, the restaurant has been serving up gameday classics in The Golden Triangle for the last ten years.
While the establishment is a great place to grab a drink and watch the game, its delicious menu is the MVP. Snack on small plates like their melty cheese logs and classic buffalo chicken dip before digging into their flavorful Mountain Climber burger or massive fish sandwich. SInce 2001, Olive or Twist has been serving up great cocktails and grub to Pittsburghers. While they are best known for their stellar martinis and extensive local spirits selection, they also boast a full menu of appetizers, small plates and entrees. They pay homage to the city in many dishes like their Pittsburgh chicken and steak salads, both topped with a heaping mound of french fries. Their iconic Pickles-burgh nachos draw inspiration from Pittsburgh’s briniest summer festivals and feature crispy tortilla chips piled high with toppings including “pickle de gallo.”
