City Living With Racheallee Lacek
By Racheallee Lacek
For generations Pittsburgh residents have used the Kaufman’s clock as a popular rendezvous point; the invitation to “Meet me under the clock” has launched countless good times, evening dates or family outings. My personal fondest memory was meeting there at Christmas time with my family to tour the holiday windows.
Something new is finally coming to the site of this iconic meeting place, the ultimate city emporium, Target®️, will open its doors to Pitttsburgh’s first urban scale concept inside the historical Kaufmann’s department store. What can you expect? The store’s interior design pays homage to old Pittsburgh by embracing the building’s historic architectural features and prominently displaying discovered Kaufmann artifacts. Guests should be prepared to browse the isles of beauty products, grab and go pre-made foods and many other needed items for city living. There will be 50 parking spaces dedicated for guests in the underground parking garage free of charge with validation for patrons.
CVS Pharmacy has also relocated from Smithfield & Forbes to Target®️ to facilitate all of your pharmacy needs. Between the CVS and Target, this location will host isles of toys, sporting goods, tech/electronics, stationary, Back-to-School, homegood, kitchen, bath, and storage supplies. There is a section of micro appliances; refrigerators, microwaves, TV's, Keurig coffee makers, crock pots and more to boot. Grocery options include fresh perishable and frozen selections, fruit, vegetables and a dedicated plant based foods section providing all the necessities for urban city living at one quick and easy destination.
Don’t make an excuse to NOT move downtown! With this new amenity for city living, you will not need to get into your car. Sunday, July 17th is the grand opening and we hope to see you there.
