Start the New Year with an extraordinary experience at Highmark First Night Pittsburgh, the city's premier arts-focused New Year's Eve celebration, organized by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. This year marks the 31st annual event and the 22nd year under the production of the Cultural Trust, promising an evening filled with excitement and creativity.

Spanning across downtown Pittsburgh’s iconic 14-block Cultural District, Highmark First Night offers a variety of performances and activities for all ages. The festivities kick off at 6 PM with the Dollar Bank Children’s Fireworks display, setting the tone for a night of dazzling entertainment. Here's a glimpse of what you can expect:

-Signature Parade: Don’t miss the vibrant parade that winds through the Cultural District, featuring giant puppets and performance groups.

-Dance and Theater: Witness captivating dance performances by the Alumni Theater Company, the Geo Koryu fire dance, and the Zuzu African Acrobats.

-Comedy and Magic: Experience magnificent magic skills and hilarious comedy by Luis Carreon.

-Kids’ Activities: Bring the whole family for a night of fun with interactive activities, crafts, and LEGO racing.

-Live Music: Enjoy performances by Frzy, including his hit single “You ain’t got no money”, and Jazz singer Phat Man Dee featuring Joe Hodges (keys), Cliff Barnes (bass) and Yoko Suzuki (saxophone).
