ASCEND is PPU Pittsburgh Playhouse’s upcoming production series featuring breathtaking visual and aural artistry. Audiences can look forward to enchanting projections, music, dance, and aerialist performances. A fusion of STEM and art, ASCEND will offer a unique interactive experience for all audiences. ASCEND homes in on universal themes such as humanity and the four elements of earth, air, fire, and water. Downtown Pittsburgh will host the area’s first Asian food festival called Taste of Asia at The Pittsburgh Playhouse. The event will feature a selection of dishes from the area’s top Asian restaurants including Essence, Zen Restaurant and Sushi Bar, Shanghai Tokyo and Chengdu Gourmet 2 as well as organic juices provided by 1:11 Juice Bar.
