The Terminal Adds Shake Shack to Its List of Mouthwatering Dining Options

By Olivia Miller

Shake Shack will debut its first location in Western Pennsylvania in the historic Strip District’s shopping and dining plaza, The Terminal, in 2024.

Andrew McCaughan, Chief Development Officer at Shake Shack, says “Pittsburgh friends - we know it’s taken far too long to bring Shake Shack to this dynamic city. We are thrilled to land the first Shack in the Steel City at The Terminal in the iconic Strip District. We can’t wait to open our doors, welcome the community and serve our delicious, freshly made burgers and shakes in 2024.”

Originally founded in New York City in 2004, the company has opened 460 locations worldwide, including 12 in Pennsylvania which are concentrated around Philadelphia.

Shake Shack offers “elevated versions of American classics only using the best ingredients. Though mostly known for their freshly made Angus beef burgers, crispy fries, and hand-spun milkshakes, they also offer chicken sandwiches and house-made lemonade as well as a selection of beer and wine. The establishment accomplishes their mission of “stand for something good” not only with their food made with wholesome ingredients but also with their fair pricing model and hospitable service.
