About the Event

This exciting weekend-long event with a closed street will be celebrating the rich food scene of Pittsburgh.

Experience a culinary journey with a diverse selection of ethnic foods that showcase the unique flavors and cultural traditions of Pittsburgh.

This year, the StrEAT Festival is proud to collaborate with the Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival (PIJF) as it celebrates its 15th edition. This special partnership brings together two powerful expressions of Pittsburgh’s cultural identity—our dynamic culinary scene and our rich jazz legacy. As festival-goers explore a wide array of ethnic food vendors along closed downtown streets, they’ll also be immersed in the world-class sounds of jazz that have long connected and inspired our communities. With over 30,000 attendees in 2024, PIJF attracts music lovers from across the country and around the world. Together, the StrEAT Festival and PIJF offer an unforgettable celebration of food, music, and the vibrant spirit of downtown Pittsburgh.
