Best Dish We Ate This Week: Condado Tacos

By Hadley Cohen

This week, our DNA staff went to Condado Tacos on Liberty Avenue for lunch and we were far from disappointed. We started off our meal with the Queso Blanco that was garnished with fresh jalapenos and spices. The richness of the cheese complimented the punch that the spice brought perfectly. Out of all of our entrees, the crowd favorite was the “Lucy’s Fire” taco. The taco was held together by a special firecracker shell that contained roasted chicken, lettuce, cilantro, onions, middlefield smoked cheddar, corn salsa, and cilantro-lime aioli. The fiery shell added a punch that perfectly blended with the smokey after taste of the cheese and the hint of lime from the aioli. The chicken was well seasoned and extremely tender and the lettuce was perfectly crispy, giving a certain freshness to the meal that is very hard to achieve. We highly recommend Condado Tacos for their great atmosphere, friendly staff, and amazing food!
