Best Dish We Ate This Week: Sushi Kim 2

By Olivia Miller

This week, the DNA editorial staff went to Smithfield’s quaint, second-floor sushi hotspot, Sushi Kim 2. With a giant swordfish looming on the walls and soft music playing in the background, our sushi connoisseurs felt right at home.

We ordered 3 rolls: shrimp tempura, spicy salmon, and spicy yellowtail. They came artistically plated, displaying each section of fresh, bright ingredients. The shrimp tempura roll featured crispy tempura shrimp and cucumber rolled in tender rice and covered in bright red masago. The spicy salmon and yellowtail rolls were a combination of savory, salty, and spicy from its fresh fish, spicy sauce, and seaweed shell.

To try Sushi Kim 2’s sushi rolls or a dish from their extensive menu of authentic Korean classics, they are located at 110 Smithfield Street or visit their website for more information.
