Looking for a place to decompress Downtown? DNA has composed a list of our favorite happy hours. These places feature drinks that will put a smile on your face and keep more faces in your wallet. Check out these six locations in the Golden Triangle.

The Yard: This American Gastropub has food and drinks that will put yinz in a great mood after a long work day. The Yard features gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches available in five locations across the city. Take a load off and get to The Yard on Market Square for their happiest hours from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday.

When you stop by The Yard for happy hour, you can choose from any draft beers $1 cheaper than usual and $4 glasses of house wine. Try their drink of the day during happy hour for just $5 and enjoy a $2 discount on appetizers when you dine-in.

Primanti Bros: Visit this Pittsburgh favorite during a stroll on Penn Avenue and experience sandwiches and drinks that are curbing appetites across Pennsylvania. Enjoy a sandwich piled high with your choice of protein, house-made slaw, soft Italian bread and fresh-cut fries. With classic drinks and consistent eats, you know exactly what you are getting yourself into while also getting a great bang for your buck.

When you visit Primanti’s weekdays from 5 to 7 p.m. you can throw back half-price drinks during happy hour. Just like their sandwiches, average is never enough. On Friday and Saturday evenings from 9 to 11 p.m. dine in and get the same deal!

Sienna Mercato: Visit Sienna Mercato on Penn Avenue to experience three restaurants in one building. Each floor has a different specialty and a different vibe so you are sure to find something that satisfies the friend that loathes a night on the town. On the first floor you have Emporio, which features a high-energy bar environment, cocktails, draft beers and meatballs presented in a variety of ways. For a more lowkey vibe you can see yourself upstairs and experience a wine bar, pizzas, charcuterie, pastas and other signature Italian dishes. If you come for the handcrafted cocktails and the view, make your way up one more floor and enjoy light dishes and an extensive list of drinks.

Three days a week you can get $4 drinks at Emporio including draft beers, wine and mixed drinks. If you want something with a little more kick, make your way upstairs to Tetto and enjoy $5 drinks and $6 house margs with a rooftop view. In addition to their happy hour specials, get an I.C. Light for just $3 to celebrate the wins or mourn the losses during Pirate’s games!

Barcadia: This restaurant features two stories where you will be immersed in games, drinks and good eats. On the first floor, enjoy the bar alongside vintage arcade and pinball games. Take a step upstairs and be transported back in time! The second floor features music from the 2000’s and cocktails inspired by the beginning of the century.

On weekdays from 4 to 6 p.m. you can celebrate your day-to-day wins at Barcadia with half off bottles, cans and draft beers. Don’t rage quit your favorite game, cool off with one of the $5 frozen cocktails after a hard loss. With $2 discounts on some of their signature appetizers, you can put the money you saved into playing some of your favorite old-school games.

Bridges and Bourbon: Monday through Friday you can enjoy the bourbons at this sought-after establishment in the city of bridges. The handcrafted cocktails are creatively presented to express the high quality aesthetic and flavor. With garnish and taste that is sure to impress, the cocktails and food are only part of the experience. With outdoor dining unlike other places in the city, their unique setting will allow you to embrace the divergence.

Enjoy $6 Tito’s with your choice of mixer and $11 classic cocktails. For $9 select wines or the signature old fashioned can accompany any one of their happy hour appetizers. Indulge in discounted fresh-cut fries, baked brie, shrimp cocktails or charcuterie. Missed happy hour? If you work in the hospitality industry, bring in proof of your hard work and receive a 10% off your bill Monday through Saturday and a 30% discount on Sunday.

Soluna: This space is a one stop shop for cocktails, artisanal coffee and Latin American cuisine. Soluna offers a welcoming environment with high quality dishes and flavorful Mezcal cocktails made from agave. If you don’t want to venture outside your comfort zone, Sulna also has vodka and tequila based drinks. Stop by, refresh and celebrate a long day well done with happy hour Thursday through Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m.

Indulge in handcrafted cocktails starting at just $9 or take your pick of beer and wine for half the regular price. Appetizers start at $8 but if you aren’t looking for something too filling you can enjoy your choice of chips and dips starting at $5.
