Written by Christine Julia Dingzon
While the long Duquesne Incline has been a beloved way to take in breathtaking views of Downtown Pittsburgh from its historic cable cars, a new attraction is set to elevate that experience – literally.
Introducing the Top of the Triangle, Pittsburgh’s newest attraction that promises to take your skyline viewing to the next level. Perched on top of the U.S. Steel Tower, this thrilling attraction offers guests the opportunity to stand on Pittsburgh’s tallest skyscraper.
A General Admission ticket for the Top of the Triangle is just $30, granting guests to explore and take in the scenic views from the 47th floor. For those seeking more adventure, there are three thrilling add-ons: Tilt 412, View 841, and The Beam–each offering a unique experience for an additional fee.
Here’s a closer look at these unique experiences:
For an extra $10, Tilt 412 lets you lean out of a tilted window at 41.2 degrees, offering a daring perspective of the streets below.
View 841 provides a bird’s-eye view of the city for $15, where guests will be able to walk over a glass floor observationary deck. It’s an experience that for sure will give you a thrill!
For those seeking a challenge, the Beam is a true test of nerves to those wanting an extra layer of excitement. This experience gives guests the chance to walk across the edge of an I-Beam for $100!
Jeremy Goldman, the CEO and Founder of the U.S. Steel Tower hopes that the Top of the Triangle will not only provide an unforgettable experience but to also bring the community together by making full use of Pittsburgh’s tallest building.
This attraction is expected to be open to the public in the beginning of 2026.
