Steelers Brunch at Redbeard’s
Written by Allison Frazer
Looking for a fun way to kick off a Steelers’ home game? Enjoy a brunch at Redbeard’s on Sixth Street before all home 1 o’clock Steelers games!
Redbeard’s downtown location is located just over the river from Acrisure Stadium, making it a quick and easy walk for fans headed to the game. Starting at 9 A.M., fans can head to Redbeard’s for pancakes, french toast, cereal, yogurt, and just about any other breakfast food under the sun.
Redbeard’s started the awesome tradition of hosting brunch prior to the start of Steelers 1 o’clock games three years ago to try something new. You don’t just have to be a fan of the Steelers to enjoy the Steelers brunch: Redbeard’s is one of the only bars downtown that have the Sunday Ticket, so anyone can root for their team while enjoying a bite to eat.
As with most of the city, the Steelers have a special place at Redbeard’s. Pictures of players past can be found all over the walls. Sports mean so much to this city and connect people all over Pittsburgh when they don black and gold in support of one of the many Pittsburgh teams. Redbeard’s is a place to show your support and meet other fans who are passionate about Pittsburgh’s teams.
Being downtown, Redbeard’s is a top choice for theater goers and sports fans. Located right across the street from Heinz Hall, home to the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, down the street from the Benedum Theater, home to many Broadway shows, and across the river from PNC Park and Acrisure Stadium, Yinzers can meet at Redbeard’s and share a drink.
Since its opening in 2013, Redbeard’s has resonated with many people, and they want to continue fostering that community by making people feel welcome no matter what team they root for.
Don’t miss the next Steelers brunch at Redbeard’s at 144 Sixth St. before all Steelers home 1 o’clock games!
