Luxury, Community, and History: Discover LiveWell Apartments Downtown

Written by Molly Green

The LiveWell Apartments are now open to residents. This historic building, located at 550 Wood St, was designed in 1904 by legendary architect Daniel Burnham. It has since been elevated to offer residents a comfortable modern lifestyle in a space true to Burnham’s timeless design.

The ribbon cutting took place on February 13, 2025. Anoop Davé, CEO of Victrix LLC real estate and development firm, was joined by Pittsburgh Mayor Ed Gainey to celebrate the grand opening.

LiveWell provides luxurious amenities such as a state-of-the-art fitness center designed by Homage, coworking suites, a resident clubhouse, and a rooftop lounge with a stunning view of the Allegheny River. Additionally, LiveWell is a pet-friendly community.

LiveWell is steps away from the Cultural District, Market Square, and the Strip District. The location allows easy access to major employers and universities in and around Downtown. Overall, they boast an impressive 100 walk score and 95 transit score.

LiveWell offers loft, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, ranging from 576 to 1,368 square feet. Hence, there’s plenty of spacious options for both individuals and families. In the apartments, you can find 12-foot-high ceilings, stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, central heating and air conditioning, and in-unit washers/dryers.

With abundant features to complement life, work, and play, the LiveWell Apartments are a great new addition to Downtown Pittsburgh. If interested in LiveWell, call (866) 858-8946, message on the website, or schedule an in-person or virtual tour.
