Written by Lourdes Rodriguez

The Strip District's growth continues to attract new residents and their beloved pets. Responding to the increasing demand for pet care, PetVet 365, a veterinary chain, has officially opened its doors in the Strip District Terminal, making it the 7th location in the Pittsburgh region.

On Monday, December 2nd, PetVet 365 held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the veterinary clinic’s new beginning in The Terminal.

The Strip District, once a hub for produce distribution, has transformed into a thriving residential area. Reports from Strip District Neighbors reveal a residential population increase of over 300% since 2015, with projections indicating potential doubling within the next few years.

PetVet 365's arrival addresses the community's need for accessible pet care services. The clinic, located in The Terminal, offers a comprehensive range of services, including general practice, urgent care, and advanced medical treatments.

As the first "Fear Free"-certified facility in Western Pennsylvania, PetVet 365 prioritizes reducing stress and anxiety for pets with comfortable exam rooms and plenty of treats.

Dr. Emily Morse, a Pittsburgh native and co-owner of the franchise, emphasizes the clinic's pet-friendly approach: "We understand that pets can be anxious about visits, so we use methods like whipped cream or cheese lick mats to keep them calm while we provide essential health care."

With its advanced facilities and commitment to compassionate care, PetVet 365 is a valuable addition to the Strip District, ensuring pets receive top-quality treatment in a welcoming and stress-free environment.

The clinic is located at 1821 Smallman Street. Their hours of operation are Mon-Fri 9AM-5PM and Sat-Sun 9AM-1PM. Pets that are currently being seen are cats and dogs.
