Owners Tim and Rick have been shaping the local hair industry for decades. Tim began his hairstyling career in the 1990s and became a salon owner in the mid-90s. The original salon, located above Nicholas Coffee & Tea Co., quickly built a strong reputation within the community.

Cardamone’s Salon has been a Pittsburgh staple for the last 44 years. Owner Joe Cardamone’s interest in shaping hair and “making people look good and feel better” initially inspired him to attend beauty school before opening the salon in 1978.
