Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Pittsburgh!
Written by Christine Julia Dingzon
Pittsburgh’s St. Patrick’s Day parade is one of the largest in the country, and this year, it’s taking over Downtown Pittsburgh on March 15 at 10 AM! The parade will kick off at the intersection of Liberty Avenue and 11th Street, making its way to Grant Street and finishing at Commonwealth Place.
With over 200,000 folks expected, this festive event will feature more than 200 bands, floats, and marching units, bringing the streets to life with color and energy. Whether you’re a Pittsburgh local or visiting for the day, this celebration is a must-see!
Keep an eye out for street closures–announcements will be made soon on which streets will be affected, and police will be on-site to ensure everyone’s safety. This parade will happen rain or shine, so make sure to dress for the weather and be ready for a fun day!
So, grab your green gear, bring your family and friends, and get ready for a day of shamrocks, parades, and Pittsburgh pride!
