Downtown Neighbors Alliance hosted the Developer’s Forum where city leaders shared upcoming improvements to Downtown Pittsburgh. The panel focused on Point Park University’s recent announcement of a new community events center and the future of the city.

After the Covid-19 induced quarantine which brought hybrid schedules and home offices, office buildings are in lower demand. Hullett uses this opportunity to repurpose these now vacant buildings into residential units. 

Downtown Pittsburgh may be seeing a new hotel open on 10th Street that will accompany the David L. Convention Center. Rafael Vinoly, the designer of the convention center, anticipated a hotel of 500 rooms to be connected to it. After twenty years of the venue space opening, Vinoly’s vision may finally come true.
