The following is an outline of a plan by the Downtown Neighbors Alliance to revitalize Downtown Pittsburgh post COVID-19.

The future of fashion is dependent on small boutiques and independent clothing brands. Their specially curated collections of creatively designed pieces rival anything at a department store. Pittsburgh’s newest boutique, New Age Attire, is bringing the newest age of fashion to the city.

Originally opened in October 2019 by Lisa Wolfson, the shop features pieces for women of all ages that are just as versatile and timeless as they are stylish. Wolfson boasts that her in-store Spanx fittings are one of the most unique and convenient aspects of the boutique.

Alexandra Mayr-Gracik trained in fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Vienna before returning to the United States to become the full-time Head Designer at Sabika Jewelry, founded in 2001 in Pittsburgh by her mother Karin Mayr. Sabika, headquartered in Robinson, is sold online and through independent consultants across the United States.
